King
One of the most anticipated films of 2026, King stars Shah Rukh Khan in a high-octane action thriller directed by Siddharth Anand. Scheduled to release on December 24, 2026, the film also marks the big-screen debut of Suhana Khan. Co-written by Sujoy Ghosh, King is reportedly inspired by the French cult classic Léon: The Professional and is expected to deliver a gritty, stylish story packed with action, emotion, and intense drama.
Ramayana
Set for a grand Diwali release on November 6, 2026, Ramayana: Part One is the first chapter of Nitesh Tiwari’s ambitious two-part adaptation of the Indian epic. The film features Ranbir Kapoor as Lord Rama, Sai Pallavi as Maa Sita, and Yash as Ravana. The ensemble cast also includes Sunny Deol as Lord Hanuman, Ravi Dubey as Lakshman, Arun Govil as King Dashrath, and Lara Dutta as Kaikeyi. With its massive scale and star-studded cast, the film is expected to be one of the biggest cinematic events of the year.
Toxic
Directed by Geetu Mohandas, Toxic presents Yash in a rugged and intense new avatar. The film is said to blend style, atmosphere, and character-driven storytelling, offering a darker and more grounded narrative. Alongside Yash, the cast includes Kiara Advani, Tara Sutaria, and Huma Qureshi. The film is slated to hit theatres on March 19, 2026.
Alpha
Expanding the ever-growing YRF Spy Universe, Alpha is being billed as India’s first female-led spy blockbuster. The action thriller stars Alia Bhatt and Sharvari as elite agents who team up to take on a dangerous enemy. Bobby Deol plays the antagonist, while Anil Kapoor has a key role. Fans can also look forward to Hrithik Roshan’s special appearance as Agent Kabir. Directed by Shiv Rawail, Alpha arrives in cinemas on July 3, 2026.
Dhamaal 4
The beloved comedy franchise returns with Dhamaal 4, directed by Indra Kumar. Releasing on July 10, 2026, the film follows the chaotic gang on another treasure hunt filled with hilarious misadventures. This time, the characters set out in search of the legendary “Treasure of Life” after discovering a mysterious “W” treasure map. As expected, audiences can look forward to plenty of laughs, confusion, and over-the-top fun.
Maatrubhumi
Originally announced as Battle of Galwan, Salman Khan’s upcoming war drama has been renamed Maatrubhumi: May War Rest in Peace. The film is currently scheduled for release on August 14, 2026. Inspired by the 2020 Galwan Valley clash, the story highlights the courage and sacrifice of Indian soldiers stationed in some of the world’s toughest conditions. Directed by Apoorva Lakhia, the film features Salman Khan in a character inspired by Colonel Bikkumalla Santosh Babu and aims to deliver a powerful blend of patriotism and emotion.
Mirzapur: The Film
After becoming one of India’s most successful streaming franchises, Mirzapur is making the leap to the big screen. Mirzapur: The Film is set for a worldwide theatrical release on September 4, 2026. Directed by Gurmmeet Singh and written by Puneet Krishna, the movie reunites fan-favorite characters including Pankaj Tripathi’s Kaleen Bhaiya and Ali Fazal’s Guddu Pandit. Divyenndu returns as Munna Bhaiya, while Jitendra Kumar joins the cast as Bablu Pandit. With several original cast members reprising their roles, the film promises to expand the world of Mirzapur on a much larger scale.
