The wait is officially over. Marvel’s Fantastic Four has finally arrived on Jio Hotstar, streaming from November 5, 2025, and it’s already one of the most talked about MCU releases of the year. After years of hype, speculation and casting debates – the First Family Of Marvel has made their return to the big screen and the comfortable pause-rewind-replay world of OTT. The film, which reportedly cost around $200 Million, didn’t quite enter Avengers-Level box office leagues but it performed solidly earning $514.9 million. The total includes around $270.2 million from North America and $244.6 million from international markets and more importantly, restored faith among fans who’ve been waiting for Marvel to return to emotional storytelling and character-driven arcs.
Behind The Scenes Trivia Fans Will Love
1) Director Matt Shakman shot the film using as many practical effects as possible, taking inspiration from 2001: A Space Odyssey (1968) to ground the performances. Ironically, much of it was later replaced by CGI – but the actors themselves have said the real sets helped them perform.
2) Pedro Pascal (Reed Richards) actually dropped out of Weapons (2025) to take on this film – which is interesting because that movie also starred Julia Garner who plays Sue Storm here. Talk about Destiny Casting.
3) Joseph Quinn (Johnny Storm) wears a blonde wig in the film – since he had completely shaved his head for Warfare (2025) right before this.
4) Ebon Moss-Bachrach, who plays Ben Grimm/The Thing, performed the role via performance capture, not prosthetics – and even discussed the process with Mark Ruffalo, a.k.a the MCU’s original motion-capture master (Bruce Banner/Hulk)
5) In real life, Vanessa Kirby gave birth to her first child just over a month after this film’s release.
