Paatal Lok Season 2 Teaser Review: The highly anticipated Pataal Lok Season 2 trailer has dropped, and it is already soaring in numbers. The trailer is currently receiving 100k views per hour, and within the next few hours, it is expected to cross the million mark with ease. During the global crisis in 2020, Prime Video released a thriller series that turned out to be one of the most prolific Indian TV shows of all time. If you are a fan of thrillers, you might even feel biased to compare it to some of the best thriller web series in the world.
The Trailer
The trailer opens with a scene where our protagonist, Hathi Ram Chaudhary, played by the immensely talented Jaideep Ahlawat, enters a lift and presses the “P” button, signifying Pataal Lok. As the lift descends, Hathi Ram breaks the fourth wall to narrate a story to the audience. He explains that there was once a man who hated bugs so much that, upon finding a bug in his house, he killed it instantly. The entire village appreciated the man’s action and celebrated him widely.
However, the man later discovers another bug under his bed. Until then, he had believed he had won the battle against all bugs, but here in Pataal Lok, the bugs never stop coming. Hathi Ram, revealing himself as the man in the story, decides to confront the bugs by venturing into Pataal Lok.
During the narration, as the lift descends deeper into Pataal Lok, Hathi Ram is shown with increasing injuries on his face. At certain points, he is even seen wearing a buffalo skull. These visuals symbolize Hathi Ram’s unyielding determination to confront and eliminate the last of the societal ‘bugs,’ regardless of how many stages he has to endure.

What Do We Know So Far About Pataal Lok Season 2
Fans await the launch of Pataal Lok’s second season hitting Prime Video on January 17. Sudip Sharma created the show and Avinash Arun Dhaware took on directing duties. Clean Slate Filmz teamed up with Eunoia Films LLP for the show’s production.
People who love the show are gonna be super psyched that Ishwak Singh is coming back. Plus, they’re adding some top-notch talent with Tillotama Shome and Gul Panag jumping into the mix. The mastermind behind the series, Sudip Sharma, was stoked in a news drop.
