Sources reveal that the Peddi trailer is likely to arrive next weekend, with a massive launch event being lined up in Bhopal on Saturday. The event is expected to host Ram Charan, director Buchi Babu Sana, producer Venkata Satish Kilaru, Sukumar, and Janhvi Kapoor. Adding star power to the evening, A.R. Rahman is reportedly set to attend- and may even perform live, making the event a spectacle of its own.
The team is said to be planning this as one of the biggest promotional showcases of the year.
As per reports, the official trailer drop is expected on May 16, 2026, during this Bhopal event. With the film still some time away from its theatrical run, the makers have clearly started building momentum in a big way.

Even before release, Peddi is gathering impressive traction internationally. Early bookings in North America reportedly crossed the $100K benchmark within just four hours of opening- an early indicator of strong overseas pull.
The music has been another major driving force.
A.R. Rahman’s “Chikiri Chikiri” has already clocked over 200 million views, and “Rai Rai Raa Raa” has garnered more than 66 million on YouTube.
Meanwhile, the duality in Ram Charan’s look- switching from a rugged small-town cricketer to the fierce Peddi Pehlwan– continues to spark conversations across social media.

Buchi Babu Sana’s Peddi stars Ram Charan in the titular role, alongside Shiva Rajkumar, Janhvi Kapoor, Divyendu Sharma, and Jagapathi Babu. The film is produced by Venkata Satish Kilaru under Vriddhi Cinemas, with Mythri Movie Makers joining as collaborators.
