From soulful performances to full on mass entertainers, SRK has done it all. 2. Swades (Netflix) – And coming to the second place which is one of the finest performances of his career – as Mohan Bhargava, a NASA Scientist returning to his village. This amazing film made by Ashutosh Gowariker won the test of time as the film didn’t receive much love at the box office when it was released 25 years ago and now its a cult classic. A heartfelt, honest, and deeply moving performance- a film that hits home every single time.

1. Veer Zaara (Prime Video) – Marking this film first on the list as Shah Rukh Khan’s arguably finest performance, Veer-Zaara isn’t just a film — it’s an emotional journey, a timeless ode to love and sacrifice. Khan plays Veer Pratap Singh, an Indian Air Force officer who spends decades imprisoned, wrongly accused, all so that the woman he loves can live free. His restraint, pain, and undying love make this performance unforgettable. Words fall short when trying to capture the emotional depth and quiet dignity he brings to the role — Veer-Zaara is more than a movie; it’s a feeling that lingers long after the credits roll.

As we look back at this incredible journey through SRK’s filmography – from heartfelt dramas to full-blown blockbusters – one thing remains constant: his unmatched ability to own every frame he’s in. But the King of Bollywood isn’t done yet. His upcoming film King is already making waves for its gritty tone and action-packed narrative – a side of SRK we’ve only glimpsed before. If the past showed us his heart, King promises to show us his rage. And knowing SRK, he’s about to redefine what “superstar” truly means.
