Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai 22nd June 2026 Written Update: Today’s episode opens with Myra telling Mukti that there’s no way to get the paint off. Soon, both girls find themselves trapped inside a locked car. As the air gets stuffy, panic sets in, and they desperately call for help.
Arman notices their situation and initially decides to help. However, when he sees Abhira struggling with paint in her eyes, he rushes to take care of her instead. In the process, he completely forgets about Myra and Mukti, leaving them trapped inside the car.
As the girls continue to suffocate, Abhira learns what has happened and quickly steps in. She manages to get them out of the locked vehicle and is horrified by the ordeal. Mukti reveals that Arman knew they were stuck but never came back with the keys. The revelation shocks everyone.
When Arman later joins them and asks what they’re discussing, the trio is stunned to realize he has no memory of the incident. Instead, Arman assumes someone tried to steal the car after noticing the broken window and immediately talks about informing the police. Abhira stops him and asks him to rest, beginning to suspect that something is seriously wrong.
Unable to ignore the signs any longer, Abhira breaks down and discusses Arman’s condition with the doctor. The doctor recommends an MRI after hearing about his memory lapses. While Abhira grows increasingly worried about Arman’s health, Myra and Mukti also become concerned. Myra asks what is happening to him, while Mukti wonders how he could forget such an important incident when the doctors had said he was recovering. Abhira reassures them and asks them not to worry.
Later, Myra and Mukti debate whether Arman deserves to know about his memory problems. Mukti feels he should be told the truth, but Myra disagrees. They ultimately leave the decision to Abhira, who is left stunned by the responsibility.
Elsewhere, Disha prepares Tanya’s room and food. Vidya questions Arman about why he’s staying at Abhira’s garage home. Sensing something is off, she presses him for answers. Arman avoids her questions and convinces her not to cancel her trip. Despite this, Vidya tells Madhav that she wants to return to Udaipur because she suspects Arman isn’t well.
Meanwhile, Abhira finally confronts Arman and tells him they need to visit the hospital for an MRI. Arman dismisses her concerns and insists that he’s fine. Abhira then reveals the truth—he forgot about Myra and Mukti being trapped and left them in danger. The realization leaves Arman shaken.
Back at home, Tanya returns. Manoj asks Kaveri to look after her, while Kajal urges Krish to meet Tanya. Krish refuses, still upset that Tanya hid her pregnancy from him. Aryan points out that Tanya alone shouldn’t be blamed, which only angers Krish further. Aryan later admits to Manoj that he misses Arman and Abhira, and Manoj comforts him.
As the episode nears its end, Arman continues resisting the idea of going to the hospital, while Abhira does everything she can to convince him.
Precap: Arman tells Abhira that he is close to exposing Rishab. Mukti reveals that Rishab is hiding inside the Poddar house. Determined to uncover the truth, Arman asks Abhira to support him. Together, they use reverse psychology on Rishab, eventually forcing him to confess that he is Myra’s stalker.
Our Take:
Vidya’s return seems destined to create more drama than solutions. It looks like she’ll end up blaming Abhira for hiding Arman’s deteriorating condition and accuse her of putting his life at risk. The recent Vidya-free episodes were actually refreshing, and her repeated attempts to assert authority over Arman often feel forced rather than genuine.

On the brighter side, Rishab’s storyline finally appears to be reaching its conclusion. With that track wrapping up, the focus should shift to Arman’s memory loss, which is currently the most compelling angle. The story has been moving at a slow pace, and this development has the potential to bring back much-needed momentum.
