Starring Park Min Young and Yook Sungjae, Nine to Six premieres on SBS on November 25, 2026. Indian viewers can stream the office romance series on Amazon Prime Video. The cast also includes Go Soo and Joo Hyun Young.
Based on the popular 2021 Chinese drama The Rational Life, the series follows Kang Yiji (Park Min Young), a dedicated workaholic who has little time for romance, and Han Seonwoo (Yook Sungjae), a kind-hearted man who gradually changes the way she looks at love.
The story unfolds at the headquarters of Chronic Motors, where Yiji works as the legal team’s deputy manager. Known for her strictly logical approach, she’s cool-headed, meticulous, and excellent at her job. Love, however, is a different story. Despite being so confident at work, she struggles to navigate her personal life.
Seonwoo, meanwhile, is a law school graduate who ends up joining Yiji’s team, even though his real passion lies in jewellery design. Warm and considerate, he brings a different perspective to Yiji’s otherwise work-focused world.
As the two spend more time together, their contrasting personalities draw them closer. What begins as a professional relationship gradually develops into a romance, with both learning important lessons about love, life, and their careers along the way.

There’s also a possible love triangle in the mix. Go Soo plays Park Hyuntae, an elite general manager who judges employees strictly on their performance. The actor is returning to the romance genre after 15 years. Joo Hyun Young plays Shin Jiwon, Yiji’s close friend and a housewife whose storyline explores the everyday challenges many people face.
The production team has also praised Park Min Young’s performance, highlighting how naturally she portrays a woman trying to balance her career and love life.
