Dead-End Job OTT Release Date: When and Where to Watch
Dead-End Job will premiere on Netflix on October 30, 2026. The makers confirmed the release date alongside the series’ trailer, giving viewers a glimpse of the strange and frightening world at the centre of the story.
What Is Dead-End Job About?
The story follows Byeon Hyeok Jun, a man in his thirties who is struggling to deal with mounting debts. With his finances spiralling out of control, he begins looking for a way to turn things around. That’s when he comes across Spider Staffing Agency, a mysterious recruitment company run by the equally mysterious Mr. S.
The agency advertises part-time jobs that pay 50 times the standard minimum wage. There’s just one catch: employees must never reveal or discuss what happens during their shifts.
Desperate for money, Hyeok Jun accepts a job at what appears to be a regular convenience store. But the assignment quickly takes a terrifying turn, pulling him into a supernatural nightmare. As he takes on more jobs, the situations become increasingly dangerous, leaving him fighting to survive while keeping the agency’s secrets.
Elsewhere, Yeon Ju, an officer at the Institute of Industrial Accident Prevention and Protection, starts investigating a series of unusual incidents linked to Spider Staffing Agency. The more she looks into the company, the more troubling its suspiciously lucrative job offers appear.
Hyeok Jun’s younger sister, Ji Yoon, is also struggling with their financial problems and the pressure of paying the bills. Initially focused on making ends meet, she soon grows concerned about her brother’s changing behaviour and frequent unexplained absences.
Despite the growing danger, Hyeok Jun continues getting pulled deeper into the agency’s world. Meanwhile, Yeon Ju’s investigation and Ji Yoon’s attempts to understand what’s happening to her brother begin to connect with his increasingly frightening experiences.
Their search for answers eventually leads them towards Mr. S and the supernatural forces lurking behind the agency’s high-paying jobs. What initially looks like an easy way to earn money soon reveals a much darker side, raising questions about just how much these opportunities are really worth.
