The wait for Allu Arjun’s Raaka may still be long, but his fans are making sure the excitement doesn’t go quiet.
While official updates around the much-awaited sci-fi action film remain limited, the fanbase has found its own ways to keep the conversation alive. Some are creating elaborate edits and fan-made content others are running dedicated social media campaigns, and now, fans have gone a step further by creating a dedicated Raaka website-and another fan group is even working on a game celebrating the film.
Among the latest initiatives is World of Raaka, a fan-made website created by North Icons a community of Allu Arjun’s North Indian fans. The platform, along with its X page, is designed to bring fans together and keep the excitement around Raaka alive until the film arrives.
In an exclusive conversation with YoTainment, the developer opened up about the idea behind the platform, the response from fans and what they have planned for the Raaka campaign.
How did the Raaka website come together?
The idea began with a simple goal: create a dedicated space for Raaka fans.
The initiative was started collectively by North Icons, initially as a tentative website and social media presence. As the response grew, the project gradually developed into a more structured platform.
A major contribution came from North Icon Ashok (@Cricvizanalys), who helped develop and improve the website. The creators also gave a special mention to fellow North Icons @RajMav07, @bhAAiCults, @rounakdaa and @Corleoneei for being part of the initiative.
But what prompted fans to build an entire platform for a film that is still some time away?
“We wanted to keep the hype around Raaka alive”
Speaking to YoTainment, the creators explained that the motivation was largely driven by the lack of regular updates surrounding the film.
“We wanted to keep the hype around Raaka alive,” they said, explaining that the team felt the excitement shouldn’t fade simply because there weren’t frequent official updates.
That led to the idea of creating an X page and website where fans could share updates, discuss the movie and continuously build anticipation.
What began as a small fan initiative eventually turned into something much bigger.
“It wasn’t just about running a fan page. It was about creating a community and keeping the Raaka wave alive until the movie finally arrives,” the creators told YoTainment.
5,000 followers in just four days
The response came faster than expected.
The Raaka X page crossed 5,000 followers in just four days, giving the creators an early indication of the level of interest among fans.
Did they expect it?
“We were expecting a good response because we knew there was a strong fan base and a lot of curiosity around Raaka. But crossing 5,000 followers within just four days was definitely beyond what we expected,” they revealed.
The rapid growth also showed that fans were actively looking for a dedicated space to follow the film and participate in discussions around it.
What are the plans for the fan campaign?
The creators say the community is continuing to grow, with North Icons and other Raaka fans joining organically.
The plan now is to turn the website into a one-stop destination for everything Raaka, featuring movie updates, posters, creative content, fan discussions, trending activities and other campaigns.
The bigger objective is to ensure that when the official promotional campaign begins, the fan community is already active and ready to take the excitement to another level.
“Fan-driven promotions have become extremely important”
Allu Arjun’s fandom has become one of the most active in Indian cinema, and the creators believe fan-led initiatives can play an increasingly important role in a film’s promotional journey.
“Fan-driven promotions have become extremely important in creating hype for a film today,” they said, pointing to Allu Arjun’s passionate and active fan base as a major force capable of taking excitement beyond traditional promotions.
And the Raaka fandom appears to be demonstrating exactly that.
When fans mistook the platform for an official page
Interestingly, one of the biggest compliments came from fans who initially thought the website and X page might be officially associated with the film.
Several fans were reportedly confused when they first came across the platform because of its presentation and professional appearance. Once they realised it was independently created by fans, the reaction turned into appreciation for the effort behind it.
For the creators, that moment was special- not because they wanted to be mistaken for an official platform, but because it showed that a fan-made initiative could achieve a professional level of presentation.
And there’s already a Raaka game in the works
The fan creativity isn’t limited to the website.
While North Icons are building their digital platform, another Allu Arjun fan group, Bunny Youth Iconn, has announced a Raaka game to celebrate the upcoming film.
Alongside the growing number of fan edits, creatives and social media activities, these initiatives point towards something larger than conventional fan pages: an increasingly organised digital fan culture developing around one of Indian cinema’s most anticipated films.
A campaign built purely out of love
There is no official backing behind the website, the creators emphasise. The initiative has been built independently by fans who simply want to see Raaka receive the attention they believe it deserves.
“If the Raaka team or Allu Arjun himself ever came across our website, the one thing we would want them to know is that this effort comes purely from the love and excitement fans have for the film,” the creators told YoTainment.
Directed by Atlee, Raaka stars Allu Arjun and Deepika Padukone in a high-scale sci-fi action film built around reincarnation. The story follows a powerful character navigating forces connected to his past, promising a visually ambitious cinematic experience.
For now, the official campaign is yet to fully unfold. But the fans are already preparing their own.
So, what best describes the mood among the Raaka fandom?
The answer from the creators was simple: “THAGGEDELE! Never Backing Down.”
And judging by the edits, websites, campaigns and even games already emerging around the film that may well be the energy Raaka carries into its release.
