Anupama 19th June 2026 Written Update: Today’s episode begins with Ansh questioning Leela about inviting the Kotharis to the wedding. He argues that instead of celebrating the occasion, they will only create unnecessary drama. Leela, however, believes they should still invite them for the sake of Rahi and Pari. Ansh points out that Pari will attend because she is pregnant, but Rahi will be left in an awkward position. He adds that Prem will simply stand around with a long face, making everyone uncomfortable.
Hasmuk reminds everyone that inviting the Kotharis is their responsibility. Whether they choose to attend or not is entirely their decision. Anupama agrees with both Leela and Hasmuk, saying they should fulfill their duty without expecting anything in return.
Paritosh and Pakhi are convinced the Kotharis will reject the invitation. Anupama quickly reminds Paritosh that he had no problem when Pakhi went to Vasundhara and pleaded with her during Ishani and Banku’s matter. Prerna also expresses her wish to invite Prem to the wedding. She says he is the only true friend she has from her side and wants him to be part of her special day. Hearing this, Anupama decides to personally invite the Kotharis.
Elsewhere, Ishani is upset with Pakhi and Paritosh. Banku notices her frustration and jokingly asks why she is taking her anger out on curry leaves. In an emotional moment, Ishani tells Banku they should simply run away and get married so everyone stops interfering in their lives.
Banku refuses to take that path. He says he doesn’t want to go against the family and promises that one day he will become both a husband Ishani can be proud of and a brother Anupama will proudly call her own. Ishani advises him to stop remaining silent whenever Pakhi or Paritosh insult him. She assures him that she, Digvijay, and Anupama will always stand by him, but he must also learn to stand up for himself. Banku understands her point and agrees.
Later, Anupama, accompanied by Hasmuk, Leela, and Prerna, arrives at the Kothari house. Meeta is surprised to see them and asks what brings them there. Anupama calmly replies that she has every right to visit, just as Vasundhara had every right to come to their house and interfere in Ishani and Banku’s marriage. She even thanks Vasundhara for sharing her opinions on the matter.
Prem immediately refuses to accept the wedding invitation and asks Rahi to return it. Despite his reaction, Anupama tries to convince the family to attend. Prem remains firm and declares that no one from the Kothari family will attend Ansh and Prerna’s wedding except Pranshi.
Prerna is deeply hurt. She asks Prem why he is leaving her alone on one of the most important days of her life when he has always been her closest friend. Turning to Shruti, she says their misunderstanding happened only because of her. Shruti, however, accuses Prerna of betraying Prem.
Anupama maintains her composure and says they came only to invite the family. Whether they attend or not is completely their choice.
Prem then lays down a condition. He says the Kotharis will attend only if Digvijay apologizes to him publicly. Khyati immediately disagrees, reminding everyone that Digvijay was not at fault. Anil also asks Prem to let go of the past, but Prem refuses to move on.
Gautam joins the argument and insists that Digvijay should apologize and even beg for forgiveness. Hasmuk immediately stands up for Digvijay. He asks Vasundhara to teach Prem the difference between right and wrong instead of encouraging his stubbornness. He then asks Pari to bring Pranshi and tells the Kotharis to decide for themselves whether they wish to attend the wedding.
Before leaving, Anupama gives Prem a firm reply. She says that if Digvijay had actually been wrong, he would have apologized without anyone asking him to. But since she knows Prem is the one at fault, she will never allow Digvijay to bow before him.
Pakhi and Paritosh wonder why the Kotharis would attend the wedding after everything that has happened between the two families. Meanwhile, Anupama decides not to tell Digvijay about Prem’s condition to avoid creating more tension.

Anupama begins looking for Digvijay. Leela assumes he has gone to buy sweets, but Banku points out that the sweets are already being delivered. He believes Digvijay has gone to purchase items needed for the wedding rituals. Meanwhile, Prem is shocked to find Digvijay standing at his doorstep and demands to know why he has come there again. Back home, Leela informs Anupama that all the ritual items are already arranged, leaving Anupama confused about Digvijay’s whereabouts.

Our Take:
Anupama deserves credit for standing her ground instead of giving in to emotional pressure. She chooses to support what is right rather than blindly siding with anyone, even if it affects Rahi. Her refusal to let Digvijay apologize for something he didn’t do shows the strength that has always defined her character. Hopefully, she continues to stay this firm and doesn’t compromise her principles in the episodes ahead.
