Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai 16th June 2026 Written Update: Today’s episode opens with a kind-hearted lady asking Abhira to head home since it’s nearby. Abhira hesitates because she’s afraid of facing Arman. The lady gently reassures her, saying it’s time to go back. Curious, Abhira asks how they even knew where she lived. The lady smiles and says it was the Goddess who brought them together because she wanted to bless her. Hearing that, Abhira feels a little calmer. She then asks Nilesh about Arman, but Nilesh and Peter simply exchange worried looks instead of answering. Their silence makes Abhira even more anxious about Arman.
Meanwhile, tensions continue to rise at the Poddar house. Kaveri insists that if Arman had simply apologized to Disha, none of this would have escalated. Myra immediately shuts that idea down, saying Arman would never apologize for something he didn’t do. She gives Kaveri a reality check, pointing out that this time she failed to stand by the truth and ended up breaking the family apart.
Kajal steps in and tells Myra not to disrespect Kaveri. Myra fires back, saying the Poddars have no right to disrespect her parents either. Standing firmly by Arman, she says she knows him better than anyone and that he could never raise his hand against a woman. Even if someone claimed otherwise, she wouldn’t believe it. She then questions Kaveri’s faith in her own upbringing, asking how she could think Arman was capable of such an act.
Kaveri responds by asking whether Disha is lying and what about the evidence she presented. Without hesitation, Myra says Disha is completely wrong and continues defending Arman. Hurt and disappointed, Myra declares that she is cutting ties with the Poddars until they bring both her parents back with the respect they deserve.
Sanjay tries to calm the situation by suggesting that Arman should apologize to Disha just to end the conflict. Myra refuses, saying Arman will never apologize for something he hasn’t done. She even admits she’s jealous of Rishab because despite being exposed as a stalker, his family still believes him, while Arman is being judged without proof. Kaveri argues that Arman is capable of crossing any limit, but Myra confidently replies that while Arman would do anything for her, he would never cross his moral boundaries. Along with Mukti, she walks out of the Poddar house after defending him.
Back home, Abhira desperately searches for Arman. Myra and Mukti return and apologize for visiting the Poddar house without telling her. Abhira explains that she kept the truth hidden only to avoid creating more misunderstandings between the two families. Even so, both Myra and Mukti feel heartbroken for everything Arman and Abhira are going through. They begin looking for Arman, but Abhira tells them he had stepped out.
Soon, Arman finally comes back home. Abhira is upset and scolds him for leaving without informing her. While the couple talks, Myra and Mukti secretly notice that Arman has been taking strong medication. They quietly hide themselves so Abhira and Arman won’t realize they’re listening.
Arman then confesses that before finding Abhira, he had actually planned to visit the Poddar house and apologize to Disha to end the matter.
Elsewhere, Disha makes a major decision. She chooses to reveal Krish’s truth to Tanya. Tanya is left completely shocked after learning that Krish has been having an affair. Although Disha finally tells the truth, she knows she doesn’t have the courage to face Arman and Abhira’s anger once they find out everything.
Back at home, Arman tells Abhira that the moment he found her, he abandoned the idea of going to the Poddar house. At the same time, Mukti questions Myra about why she stopped her from asking Abhira about Arman’s health. Myra says Abhira would never reveal the truth willingly, so they’ll have to find out themselves.
Their curiosity soon turns into complete shock when they discover that Arman has a brain tumor. The heartbreaking truth leaves both Myra and Mukti speechless.
The emotional episode ends with Arman reassuring Abhira that he has finally understood one thing. He believes he can recover only if she stays by his side. Trusting her completely, he promises to follow every instruction she gives him from now on.

Abhira receives an anonymous phone call from someone claiming to be her next client. She arrives at the Poddar house and surprises everyone by announcing that she is Tanya’s lawyer. She then warns Krish to get ready because she will be representing Tanya in their divorce case.
Our Take:
Now that Myra and Mukti finally know the truth, their first priority should be exposing Disha. She keeps pretending to be innocent, but she’s the real mastermind behind the entire mess. Making an innocent face every time shouldn’t be enough to escape the consequences of her actions.
It’s also high time Manisha and Manoj were held accountable instead of comfortably staying in the Poddar house while adding to the family’s problems. Looking ahead, it would be satisfying to see Arman and his family reclaim their rightful place and take charge of the Poddar house.
As for Kajal, it’s time she stopped acting like the victim in every situation. Instead of constantly lecturing Abhira and Tanya, she should let Abhira handle Tanya’s case professionally without unnecessary interference. That would make for a much more refreshing change.
