Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai 18th June 2026 Written Update: Today’s episode begins with Abhira sitting down to calculate her upcoming expenses. She regrets losing Kulkarni’s case along with several other clients and starts worrying about their financial situation. Although Arman’s savings could help for now, she hesitates to use them, wondering what they will rely on in the future.
Meanwhile, Mukti questions Myra’s unusual behavior and asks if she has gone crazy. Myra reminds her that they can’t let Abhira and Arman find out they already know about Arman’s tumor. She explains that if they suddenly start avoiding school trips and activities, Arman and Abhira will only feel guilty. Myra asks Mukti to cooperate with her plan. Mukti agrees, saying they may have to tolerate a little embarrassment, but it’s worth it for Arman and Abhira. Myra admits that she used to do things just for fun, but now every decision she makes is for Arman.
Just then, Abhira receives an anonymous phone call. The caller offers her a new legal case and promises an impressive fee. Abhira immediately responds that she doesn’t fight cases for money but for justice. The mysterious caller simply asks her to reach the given location.
Elsewhere, Arman gets Myra and Mukti ready for school. Before leaving, the girls gift him a planter. Curious, Arman asks why they have suddenly become so concerned about his health. Myra cleverly replies that the planter is good for everyone’s well-being. Arman then notices Abhira getting ready and guesses she has landed a new case. Surprised, Abhira asks how he figured it out. Smiling, Arman tells her that her eyes reveal everything. Before leaving, Abhira playfully asks him to make tea so she can enjoy it when she returns from work. Arman happily agrees.
As Abhira heads to the meeting, she wonders how the anonymous caller knows both her favorite café and her preferred food. Her curiosity ends when Tanya appears. Tanya reveals that she is the client and pleads with Abhira to help her get rid of Krish. She finally opens up about Krish’s affair and requests Abhira to represent her in the divorce case.
Abhira initially refuses, explaining that the ongoing conflict between her and the Poddar family makes it impossible for her to take the case. However, Tanya emotionally confesses that she has tolerated enough humiliation in her marriage and cannot continue living that way. She believes no one understands Sanjay and Krish better than Abhira and begs her to fight on her behalf.
Despite Tanya’s emotional appeal, Abhira refuses once again, leaving Tanya heartbroken.
Back at home, Arman decides to surprise Abhira by preparing tea himself. While he is in the kitchen, Vidya calls him. She is surprised to learn that Arman is cooking, especially since there is usually staff available to handle household work. Arman avoids answering her questions and instead asks Nilesh for help after realizing the gas cylinder is almost empty.
Nilesh informs him that the gas supply is running low. Thinking quickly, Arman comes up with a solution to arrange another cylinder so he can finish preparing tea before Abhira returns.
Meanwhile, fate changes everything for Abhira. She unexpectedly runs into Krish and witnesses him insulting a woman. Seeing his behavior with her own eyes changes her perspective completely. Realizing Tanya has been telling the truth all along, Abhira changes her decision and agrees to represent Tanya in court. Relieved, Tanya immediately decides to hire Abhira and pay her legal fees.
Later, Disha thanks the Poddar family for accepting her invitation for dinner. During the gathering, Abhira arrives at the Poddar house as Tanya’s lawyer.
Kaveri sarcastically remarks that Abhira has now entered the house in the role of an advocate instead of a family member. Ignoring the taunt, Abhira announces that she has officially accepted Tanya’s case.
Kaveri criticizes her for putting the family’s reputation at risk. Abhira calmly responds that this time a woman’s safety and dignity matter more than protecting the family’s image. Kaveri challenges her, asking what will happen if the Poddars refuse to cooperate.
Before Abhira can answer, Arman steps in. Standing firmly beside her, he confidently declares that if necessary, Abhira will turn the courtroom into a battlefield to fight for justice.
His unexpected support leaves every member of the Poddar family completely stunned.

Relieved, Abhira, Myra, and Mukti celebrate the positive update.
Our Take:
Abhira taking Tanya’s case feels like a turning point in the story. After witnessing Krish’s behavior herself, she had every reason to stand by Tanya, and it looks like this partnership will become much stronger in the coming episodes. Tanya could eventually become Abhira’s biggest ally, especially if Arman loses his memory as hinted earlier.

On the other hand, Vidya is likely to hold Abhira responsible for keeping Arman away from his family during such a difficult phase. That accusation could create another emotional conflict just when Abhira is trying to balance Arman’s health, her legal career, and her fight for justice.
