Here’s everything you need to know about Mirzapur Season 4.
Mirzapur Season 4: Latest Updates
There’s still no word on the release date for Mirzapur Season 4 from Amazon Prime Video. Reports suggest that the production will kick off in early 2027, hence, it is likely to arrive in end 2027 or early 2028.
Shweta Tripathi had previously hinted at a possible release in July 2025. However, the makers never officially confirmed that date, and the season did not arrive as expected.
As for the story, Season 4 is expected to continue from the violent events of the third season. Work on the script is underway, with Gurmmeet Singh returning as director.
One of the biggest storylines to watch is Guddu Pandit’s hold over Mirzapur. With new rivals looking to challenge his authority, keeping control of the city may prove harder than ever. The power struggle could also bring political players like JP Yadav and new syndicates into the picture. Fans are also waiting to see whether the story leads to unexpected returns or a final showdown between the Tripathis, Tyagis and Pandits.
Golu Gupta, played by Shweta Tripathi, is another character whose journey could take a darker turn. After everything she has been through, her transformation is far from over.
Speaking to Mid-Day about her character, Tripathi said, “Her journey is special to me. Golu’s experiences have changed her. And she is still changing. But I think that’s what makes her human. I have grown as an actor while playing her too, so in many ways, we have grown together.”

Will Mirzapur Season 4 Connect to the Movie?
The upcoming season could also have storylines linked to Mirzapur: The Movie, which arrived in theatres on September 4, 2026. The film is reportedly scheduled to premiere on Prime Video on October 30, 2026.
Both the movie and Season 4 were conceptualised together and are expected to continue the story from where Season 3 left off. This could give fans a more connected storyline as the franchise moves forward.
