The much-awaited sequel to the hit comedy Kis Kisko Pyaar Karoon 2 has officially gone on floors in Mumbai. Starring Kapil Sharma in the lead role, the film promises to deliver another dose of laughter and chaos. Directed by Anukalp Goswami, the project is being produced by Ratan Jain, Ganesh Jain, and Abbas-Mustan under Venus Worldwide Entertainment in association with Abbas Mustan Film Production. According to sources, “Anukalp has penned the script and will also direct the film, while Abbas-Mustan will creatively supervise the project, lending their expertise to the narrative. The film is being produced by Ratan Jain.” The makers are also looking to cast multiple actresses to lead alongside Kapil Sharma. “The film will be a caper with Kapil’s character at the center of the chaos,” the source added.
Interestingly, Kapil Sharma was initially set to debut with Yash Raj’s Bank Chor but opted out, making Kis Kisko Pyaar Karoon 2? his maiden film. Directed by Abbas-Mustan, the 2015 comedy turned out to be a box office hit, cementing Kapil’s status as a bankable star in Bollywood.
