Anne Hathaway has another reason to celebrate this year. The actress surprised fans on June 19 by revealing that she is expecting her third child with husband Adam Shulman.
The announcement came through a short Instagram video featuring Hathaway in a white dress as she proudly showed off her growing baby bump. The clip was accompanied by Barbara Lewis’ classic track Baby, I’m Yours, ending with the actress smiling as she gently cradled her stomach.
She kept the caption simple, writing, “x Baby, I’m yours x.”
Hathaway and Shulman, who tied the knot in 2012, are already parents to two sons, Jonathan and Jack. The couple has largely kept their family life private over the years, making the pregnancy reveal a special moment for fans.
The actress has previously been open about the challenges she faced on her path to motherhood. While announcing her second pregnancy in 2019, Hathaway shared a message of support for those dealing with infertility and conception struggles, noting that her own journey had not been easy.
She later spoke more candidly about her experiences, revealing in a 2024 interview that she had suffered a miscarriage. Hathaway has often emphasized that conversations around pregnancy don’t always reflect the realities many families face, including periods of uncertainty, heartbreak, and self-doubt.
Despite those challenges, Hathaway has continued to use her platform to encourage honest discussions about fertility and pregnancy, offering support to others going through similar experiences.
The baby news arrives during a packed year for the Oscar-winning actress. Hathaway has already appeared in Mother Mary and The Devil Wears Prada 2, two of 2026’s most talked-about releases.
She will next be seen in Christopher Nolan’s highly anticipated film The Odyssey, scheduled to arrive in theaters on July 17, followed by The End of Oak Street later this summer.
